Libraries – App

When the app is first installed, and you have not used the website to already create a library, you will land on an empty libraries page. Before you do anything else, add a new library by clicking the “+” sign in the top left corner.

If you have added libraries using the website, and have just installed the app, you will see your libraries listed out.

Each library is a logically separated collection of your items and can only contain one “type” of an item: books, movies, music or video games.

In the image above, the user has 4 libraries, and the numbers next to the titles represent the amount of items within that library.

Tap any of the libraries to view the items it contains or to add items.

The last library has been swiped to reveal some further options:

Delete will pop-up a dialog confirming that you want to remove the library. This will remove it BOTH on the app as well as in the cloud. If you delete a library, all items will be removed from it, and it can not be recovered, so make sure you really want to delete it!

Edit will allow you to change the name of the library, or change the publish settings.

An account can create up to 100 libraries. Libraries should be used to logically separate physical collections: Business Library, Home Library, Mr. Jahangir’s Books, Ms. Nowak’s Classroom, etc…
If you’re wanting categories (Fiction, Biographies, Scifi, Romance, etc…) we recommend that you use tags.
